Vladimir Vysotsky Commemorated in Moscow Hermitage Garden

Hundreds of people venerated memory of Vladimir Vysotsky in the garden Hermitage on July 25, the day of the actor’s death. 

      Lots of Muscovites gathered together on the Night in Memory of Vladimir Vysotsky. Episodes from his stage plays and concerts, as well as amateur chronicles from life of the legendary actor, singer and songwriter were demonstrated on a big screen set up in the garden. In addition to that, all comers had a chance to sing the songs and recite poems by Vladimir Vysotsky.

      According to Alexander Kibovsky, the head of the Moscow Culture Department, such a format of the event is the best tribute to the memory of the singular poet.

      It is a reminder that Vladimir Vysotsky died in Moscow on July 25, 1980. The famous actor was laid down to rest in the Vagankovo Cemetery in Moscow.
