The Kolomenskoye State Memorial Estate in Moscow is holding the exhibition Ivan the Terrible and Alexey Tishayshy: Dialogue of Two Tsars.
The exhibition is timed to the 370 anniversary since enthronement of Alexey Mikhaylovich Romanov.
Kolomenskoye was the favourite residence of two tsars and its architectural monuments harbour "the dialogue" of the two reigns.
The exposition highlights those areas where the views of Ivan the Terrible and Alexey Mikhaylovich came close. These were concepts of the imperial power, policy in the military sphere, legislative and judicial activity of the monarch, foreign policy, ideas of the symphony of priesthood and reign, building churches and country residences and worshipping particular saints.
The exhibition presents more than 150 unique museum objects and documents.
The exhibition runs from July 31 to November 15, 2015 in showrooms of the Sytny Dvor in Kolomenskoye.
