The 18th Moscow International Jazz Festival will be held in the Hermitage Garden on August 15 and 16.
As organizers report, for two days foreign and Russian performers - both rising stars, and recognized jazzmen - will appear on the open-air stage.
The most celebrated participants are the trumpeter Jason Palmer with Alexey Podymkin's Quartet; the soul jazz singer Eve Cornelius, the quartet of the outstanding Russian drummer Pavel Timofeyev, as well as Sofia Rubina and Yevgeny Lebedev's Trio featuring the special guest Jason Hunter, and others.
In the garden there will be 3 entertainment venues. Big bands will play in a lounge zone in the Riverboat style. Beat Jazz zone will offer modern equipment for everyone to turn into a smooth jazz composer for a few minutes. The third venue is meant for children's musical creativity with competitions, quizes, and master classes for little guests and their parents.
