Children's Portraits Exhibited in St. Petersburg Manege

The Small Hall of Manege Centre in St. Petersburg welcomes to the exhibition Children opened from today.

The exposition presents Petersburg artists' works dedicated to children. "Children in art is quite a special subject, which has been very popular throughout many eras. Children incarnate the future, and, when depicting them, the artist inevitably reflects upon tomorrow. Perhaps, artists resort to the subject not so often nowadays due to the complicated situation of the present, with so much disturbing and unstable in it", - the exhibition curators say.

The visitors will see children's portraits of all kinds and techniques, including painting, graphic art, and tape art by Svetlana Badelina, Larisa Golubeva, Irina Muzyrina, Nikolay Vasilyev, Stas Kazimov, and others.

The exhibition runs in the Small Hall of Manege Centre at the address: 103, Griboyedov Canal Embankment, Saint Petersburg.
