The world famous Metallica is performing in Petersburgsky Concert Centre in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, August 25.
The concert will take place in the framework of the band's Russian tour. On August 27 Metallica will perform in Moscow.
It is going to be Metallica's second gig in St. Petersburg. The first concert was held in 2008. Since then the band has released its new album Death Magnetic (2009), and and the single Lords of Summer (2014).
The fans will hear not only hits but new songs as well: the band's tour in Russia is related to the upcoming release of its new album.
The musicians arrived in St. Petersburg on August 23. In the run-up to the concert the legendary band memebrs walked across St. Petersburg. The drummer Lars Ulrich was spotted near the hotel, in the Hermitage Museum and by the Winter Palace. Rob Trujillo was seen walking along the Griboyedov Canal. James Hetfild surrounded with fans in the Nevsky Prospect and in the Peter and Paul Fortress, 100TV reports.
