Raiffeisenbank Sells Assets

Raiffeisenbank plans to sell 25.3 billion roubles of assets, as “Interfax” reports, referring to the statements of the subsidiary of the Austrian Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI). It is noted that the management approved the plan of selling 25.285 billion roubles of assets on June 30, 2015.

It is expected that the sale will be completed after the relevant approvals from the Central Bank of Russia and the Federal Antimonopoly Service are received. The press service of the bank reported that these plans had relation to the sale of “Raiffeisen” NPF. “The statements contain information about the amount of pension fund assets that will be transferred to the buyer as a result of the transaction.

The sale of the non-state pension fund will, of course, affect the amount of RWA, but this influence will not be significant” - the bank reported.
