Original items of French arts and crafts will be displayed in the Kaliningrad Amber Museum from September 2 to September 6, 2015.
The event is organized by craftsmen from France. It is not the first time such a project will take place here. The exhibition participants are going to demonstrate their original works of art, which are one-of-a-kind or made in a very limited number.
The general exposition will be highlighted with works by the famous glassblower artist Adrian Colin. Titled the Best Worker of France (2011), he uses Baltic amber in his works.
Among exhibits there will be also works by Genevieve Matjo, who uses natural plant materials, such as, for example, palm leaves. Barbara Billa prefers the Raku type of Japanese pottery technology. Together they create fine trees with porcelain leaves.
