Fyodor Volkov Award is given by the Russian government for contribution into development of the Russian theater.

      This year the winners of the award are the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Volkhovsky Voronezh State Puppet Theater, as well as the actress Tatyana Nikolaeva of the Michurinsk Drama Theater.

      The order about handing the theatre award was signed by the RF prime minister Dmitry Medvedev.

      It is a reminder, that last year the award went to the Ryazan State Regional Puppet Theater, the Perm Young Spectators' Theater and Mikhail Bychkov, the head of the Voronezh Chamber Theater .
