The tourists are invited to have a look at the water disposal at the Girvas dam by the staff of “Girvas Park” created on the place of an ancient volcano in Kondopozhsky District of Karelia.

The Girvas waterfall came to life due to the excessive amount of rain this summer. They had to open the gateway several times in August. A video with huge torrents of water rushing down the stone bed was posted on the Internet by the tourists who rafted down the rivers of Karelia.
