Russia-Belarus Single Information Space

The idea of creating the single information space was discussed by Nikolay Nikiforov, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of the RF, and Liliya Ananich, Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus.

      The project of mutual activities for implementation of this plan was developed in 2015. The document establishes priority directions and primary goals of collaboration between Russia and Belarus.

      Members of the meeting agreed to increase number of publications of newspaper “Union. Belarus-Russia”. It covers topics of economic integration of Russia and Belarus and creation of single economic space between Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

      In 2015, Russian-Belarussian branch meeting will be held in Minsk. It  will be dedicated to cooperation within the single information space.
