Another Perspective on Rembrandt in Pushkin Fine Arts Museum

The exhibition will present works by the great Dutch artist and modern Moscow artist Dmitry Gutov inspired by Rembrandt.

The exhibition takes place in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, in the framework of the Special Projects program of the 6th Moscow Biennial of Modern Art.

The Moscow artist creates metal art works that duplicate every line of drawings and eau fortes by Rembrandt. Thus, for example, specially for the exhibition Dmitry Gutov created a composition on Rembrandt's drawing The Young Woman with a Child in Arms, which is part of the museum permanent exposition.

Besides, visitors will see etchings by the great Dutch artist along with their progressive replicas by the modern Moscow artist.
