Literary Contest 'Russian Award' Opens its New Season

The international literary contest Russian Award grants the best Russian-speaking writers working abroad.

      The Russian Award steering committee has announced the start of receiving applications for contest of 2015.

      The international literary competition Russian Award was founded in 2005 for preservation and development of the Russian language as a unique phenomenon of world culture and for supporting Russian-speaking writers around the world.

      The competition runs in three nominations, such as Large Prose (novels), Small Prose (stories and collections of short stories) and Poetry. The winner in each nomination will get the award of 150 thousand rubles. The winners who take the second and third places in each nomination will get the awards of 60 thousand rubles and 45 thousand rubles respectively.
