FIFA World Cup Can be Seen in Red Square Today

Today, on September 18, Moscow is celebrating 1000 days till the start of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.

      One of the central events - the international football competition among the junior national teams started in the Red Square at 11.45 am. Teams from Italy, Spain, Germany (the countries that won the last World Cups) and Russia (the host of the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2015) are taking part in it.

      The most important football trophy — the FIFA World champions' cup is the highlight of the grandiose event in the Red Square.

      The award of the FIFA World Cup winners is displayed in the Footbal Park, an interactive tent with large-scale installations and presentations.

      State-of-the-art technologies take visitors right from the Red Square to host cities of the World Cup 2018 in Russia and show them interesting details about World Cup mascots of the previous years. All comers can participate in competitions, become characters of a video comic book and even find themselves in augmented reality.

      All active viewers can win prizes, whereas the best of the best will become football commentators and tell the audience about the greatest matches in the  history of football!

      The Football Park is open in the Red Square from 11 am to 8 pm today, September 18.
