26 countries will present their light and multimedia shows at the Circle of Light Moscow International Festival.

      

      The festival will be held in Moscow for the fifth time already. The head of the Moscow Tourism Department Vladimir Chernikov reminded that last year about 100 thousand foreigners visited Moscow to see the festival. 6 million people are expected at the festival altogether.

      

      Muscovites and tourists will watch light shows on facades of historical buildings and monuments of Moscow, in particular, the Ministry of Defence, the Bolshoi Theater, the entrance arch of the ENEA (aka VDNKh). Videomapping will start at 7 to 8 pm.

      

      This year the Moskva River will also be involved in the Circle of Light. Multimedia Ships will voyage from the House of Music in Paveletskaya to the Luzhnetskaya Embankment today and tomorrow. With the help of projection equipment onboard they will literally draw light pictures on both sides of the embankments.

      

      The Circle of Light  festival will last till October 4.
