All-Russian Action "Live, Forest!" Took Place in Trans-Urals

All-Russian Action

Executive authorities participated in large-scale community work in the Kurgan Region on October 2.

      176 people carried out clean-up of 6 hectares in the Kurgan forest area.

      About 30 departments, directorates and institutions contributed to cleaning of this forest area. As a result about 25 tons of garbage was removed from the Kurgan forest area.

      This large-scale action for preservation of the forest fund is carried out in Trans-Urals for the third year in a row. The project aims at preserving and growing forest reserves.

      Community  work on  wood cleaning and planting, as well as ecological  lectures and exhibitions took place all over the Kurgan Region on that day.
