The festival Gold Mask in Estonia will take place in Tallinn from October 12 to October 20.
The stage, according to the Culture Minister of Estonia, Indrek Saar, bridges these two countries.
The Gold Mask is the most important theatrical event of the year and kindles great interest among both the Russian, and the Estonian public. All the stage productions will be performed with simultaneous interpretation into the Estonian language. The festival director Svetlana Yanchek pointed out that over ten years of its existence The Gold Mask in Estonia festival presented more than 1,5 thousand performances visited by over 40 thousand viewers.
According to Mr. Indrek Saar, the magnificent performances watched by the audience at the festival, at the same time turn into a dialogue between the two neighboring countries. "Emanating from universal values, culture can help us pave way to better mutual understanding, despite the economic situation or the newsreel. The theater also helps us in hard times to keep hope for bright future".
