Young Art of Smolensk and Hagen

The exhibition Young Art. Smolensk - Hagen will run in Smolensk in the framework of strengthening partnership between the two cities.

Partnership relations between the two twin cities have turned 30 years old.

The exhibition will present paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos and design works by authors 18 to 25 years of age.

The main goal of the project is developing communication among young artists from Smolensk and Hagen. Cultural exchange will take place in the format of master classes, and discussions on professional subjects. That will promote not only mastering new techniques, but also expanding the spectrum of opportunities for professional fulfillment. Besides the festival aims at drawing public attention to creativity by young and gifted artists.

The opening ceremony on October 21 will also become the award ceremony: winners of pre-exhibition competition will be announced and rewarded with memorable prizes and diplomas.

The exhibition will run in the Tenishevs Culture Exhibition Centre in Smolensk till November 22, 2015.
