Over 40 Hectares of Forest Lands Cleared of Garbage near Astrakhan

The first results of the all-Russian action Live, the Forest! have been summed up in the Astrakhan Region.

      The volunteers cleared of garbage over 40 hectares of forest reserve land and 15 hectares of populated localities.

      Deadwood was removed from 36 hectares, and grass was mowed on 3 hectares.

      Over 2,2 thousand nursery transplants have already been planted in the Astrakhan Region. The actions will last till October 31, the Astrakhan-24 TV channel reports .
