In the framework of the Year of Literature in Russia the TASS news agency presents a photo exhibition in the Central Museum of Modern History.

      It is titled Literature Lesson: Poets and Writers in Photos of TASS.

      The exposition consists of portraits of the Russian literature classics of the 19th and 20th centuries. The exhibition space looks like a drawing room with its walls decorated with photos. Reporters captured writers in various life situations: at the writing desk, while meetings readers, among friends and family members.

      Among the exhibits there will  also be truly rare books — the first editions of many famous books. They were provided for the exhibition by the Russian Book Chamber. The exhibition runs from October 22 to November 21.
