Freezing of the skating rink has begun in the Gorky Park.

      According to the press service of the park, the formation of ice will be held for two or three weeks around the clock at the optimum air temperature from +3 to - 20 degrees. The works have been performed by 80 percent: the sand pillow has been laid, the refrigeration systems are being installed, the ice mats are being rolled. According to the Park, the rink is being frozen on top of the ice mats – the cooled substrate made of flexible rubber pipes which are interconnected. The solemn opening is scheduled for November 13. A food court will work at the skating rink, just like last year. Besides, the majority of cafes will be accessible by skates right from the rink.
