International Jazz Festival in Primorye

World jazz celebrities from Russia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Germany, the USA and France will perform at the 12th International Jazz Festival in Primorye.

Japanese violinists will play on the second day of the festival, November 11.

The director of the Primorye Regional Philharmonic Hall, Valeria Zarutskaya said: "For the first time the Japanese jazz singer Yumi Sakurai will sing for us. But the jazz violinist is also extremely interesting in the band".

The Audience Choice Award included into the list of nominations in 2014 gives a chance for aspiring jazzmen to rise to prominence. This year Alexander Oleynik's big band of the regional Art College will take part in the contest.
