Domestic Cinema to be Screened in Russian Circuses

In 2016, declared the Year of Cinema, all branches of the Russian State Circus company will be equipped for regular film screening.

The film demonstrations are planned to be carried out on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon. 100 percent of the screening time will be given to the Russian cinema.

Not only retrospectives, but also premier shows of domestic films will be arranged in circuses.

The film ticket prices will be very economical and affordable for school pupils and students, since "the project does not pursue commercial purposes". The subsidy for purchase and re-equipment of the circus halls will be allocated by the RF Culture Ministry.
