The week of Russian cinema Look from Russia (Regards de Russie) has kicked off at the Arlequin movie theater in Paris.
The 13th festival has opened with the film The End of Beautiful Era directed by Stanislav Govorukhin.
The Russian premiere of the film took place in September. It is based on Sergey Dovlatov's story with the action set in Leningrad of 1965.
The Russian Cinema Week will last in Paris till Tuesday, November 17.
The festival program includes Orleans by the director Andrey Proshkin, Lovely Hans, dear Pyotr by Aleksandr Mindadze, The Green Carriage by Oleg Asadulin, The Dawns Here Are Quiet by Renat Davletyarov, The Territory by Alexander Melnik, and others. The animation almanac Magic Lamp-3 is ready for little film lovers.
