Super Fast Staunch Gel Developed by Scientists in Nizhny Novgorod

The medicine based on hitozan staunches bleeding in less than a minute.

Preclinical tests are under way now, as reported by Mikhail Gorshenin, the director of the innovative developer company Tektum.

"By way of binding to blood cells, the gel quickly builds a clot, and additional components considerably accelerate the process. For example, it takes less than 30 seconds on laboratory animals", - the project manager explained.

Most of the similar medicines staunch the bleeding in 5 to 7 minutes. Besides, unlike its analogs, the new staunch gel does not have to be deleted from the wound, since it resolves over time.
