Russian designer Alena Akhmadullina created the costumes for the participants of the New Year’s show Cirque du Soleil to be held in the “Barvikha Luxury Village” Hall in early January. This is stated in the press release received by “Lenta.ru”.

The designer elaborated about 40 images, all of them are devoted to the fairy-tale characters. Fur and leather were used in creation of the clothes.

“Fairy-tale images are a part of the Brand DNA of Alena Akhmadullina, however, the commercial component of our ready-to-wear collections usually imposes certain limitations for the designer’s imagination. The work with Cirque du Soleil gives us the opportunity to dive into a fairy-tale almost without limitations and create incredible images in a style which is close to us, referring us to the Russian roots, but in a modern interpretation” - the designer commented.
