Science Slam of Two Capital Cities to Run in St. Petersburg and Moscow

The best young scientists from the leading research institutes of Russia will present their projects to general public.

      The competition Science Slam of Two Capital Cities will be held in St. Petersburg and Moscow in the first half of December. Scientific developments will be introduced as 10-minute long standup shows on stage.

      Within this time a slammer is expected to explain the essence of one's work and its importance. The best project will be selected by the audience with applause.

      Visitors to the Science Slam will learn, whether bacteria can produce electricity, if predisposition to natural sciences depends on genes, what tablets are more useful — round or square, will get acquainted with laser physics, successors of antibiotics and extreme robotics.

      The slammers will perform in A2 Club, St. Petersburg on December, and in Yotaspace Club, Moscow on December 13.
