7th Festival 'Stage without Borders' Held in Vladikavkaz

The North Ossetian Academic Theater is hosting the 7th International Festival of National Theaters 'Stage without Borders".

The festival is dedicated to the 155th anniversary since the birth of the great Russian writer and playwright Anton Chekhov.

This year the festival brings together theatre companies from North and South Ossetia, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Dagestan and Chechnya.

From November 21 to November 25 they will be performing their best stage productions based on the plays by Anton Chekhov and Ivan Bunin, as well as a few Caucasian authors.

According to the festival organizers, the symbolical name of the project - Stage without Borders - has become a great incentive for real association of the cultural space and the peoples of the North Caucasus.
