A grand-scale exhibition will be held in St. Petersburg in the framework of the 5th International Forum "The Arctic: Present and Future".
The exposition starting on December 7, 2015 will unfold on the area of over 1500 square meters, and display achievements of the social, economic and technological development of the modern Arctic. It will present exhibits of the aboriginal culture and paragons of unique achievements made by the peoples of the Russian Polar Region.
Thematically the exposition can be divided into a few sections: regions of the Russian Arctic, its research companies and educational institutions, and economic entities in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
The visitors will have an opportunity to learn about large infrastructure projects of the Arctic regions, estimate their investment potential, as well as their role and opportunities for development of the Arctic Zone Russian Federation, and will see the cultural diversity of the aboriginal peoples and their traditional arts and crafts. The regions covered by the exposition include the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the Murmansk Region, the Komi Republic, the Republic of Sakha, the Arkhangelsk Region, etc.
