FIBA has decided to fully lift disqualifications off the Russian Basketball Federation.

      This was reported by the FIBA sporting director Kosta Iliev.

      As the RFB president Andrei Kirilenko noted, now the relationship between the Russian Basketball Federation and FIBA will be totally confidential and constructive.

      At the end of July the FIBA inflicted sanctions on RFB, having disqualified the national teams of Russia and the RBF in connection with non-transparency of the organization's management headed by Yulia Anikeyeva.

      At the end of August a new head of the Russian Basketball Federation was elected. Afterwards the FIBA reported that for total lift of sanctions from the Russian teams the RBF has to introduce some changes into its charter. On November 18 the RFB Conference voted for changing the charter.
