The American company ILS is already actively promoting the new Angara carrier in the international market of launch services.
The International Launch Services company is a subsidiary of the M. V. Khrunichev Russian State Scientific Production Space Centre.
The Angara carrier will launch from the Vostochny spaceport in the Amur Region. The ILS' new president Kirk Pysher appointed to this position in September 2016 reported about it to TASS.
"We actively offer Angara to our customers worldwide. Presently the ILS is marketing the light modification Angara-1.2, which is launched from the Plesetsk spaceport (Arkhangelsk Region), and is going to promote heavy class Angara-5, which will be launched from the Vostochny spaceport (in the Amur Region) starting from 2025".
Kirk Pysher reminded that "one of the advantages of the new family of the Angara rockets consists in their modular design". The carrier is constructed on the basis of a universal rocket module, which can be connected in various configurations allowing to provide delivery of all types of freights to any orbits. Successful tests of both models of this carrier - Angara-1.2 and Angara-5 were first carried out in 2014.
