The renowned Russian film director Eldar Ryazanov, aged 88, died in Moscow on the night of November 30.
He died of a heart failure after a long disease. Eldar Ryazanov will be buried on the Novodevichy Cemetery in Moscow on December 3, his grandson Dmitry Troyanovsky reported to journalists.
Interfax informed that the family of the famous director appealed to the Moscow authorities with a requst to hold the farewell ceremony in the Pillar Hall of Unions.
Earlier the ceremony was planned to be held in the Eldar Club, which was founded and headed by Eldar Ryazanov.
