Russian Cinema Week will be held in Buenos Aires from December 7 to December 11.
The event was organized by the Foundation for Support and Promotion of Culture and Cinematography "The Open World" and the RF Culture Ministry.
The Russian Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky is expected to take part in the event.
Film lovers in Argentina will see eight Russian films, namely The Sunstroke by Nikita Mikhalkov, Orleans by Andrey Proshkin, Without Borders by Rezo Gigineishvili, The Star by Anna Melikyan, Viy by Oleg Stepchenko and On Finger-Tips by Roman Super.
The film screening will be accompanied with Andrey Proshkin's lecture A Glimpse on Modern Russian Cinema. The film festival is part of the project on cultural exchange between Russia and Argentina.
