2016 Federal Budget Law

The State Duma adopted the law on the federal budget for 2016 in the third reading.

The deputies approved the following parameters of treasury: revenues in the amount of 13.74 trillion roubles, expenses - 16.10 trillion roubles, deficit - 2.36 trillion roubles (3 percent of GDP). The budget was made on the basis of the assumption that the inflation would amount to 6.4 percent (in December 2016). The size of the GDP is expected to reach 78.67 trillion roubles. It is planned to cover the deficit mainly by the funds of the Reserve Fund (the current amount - 4.23 trillion roubles). More than 50 percent of it will be spent to finance the budget deficit of 2015 in this year.
