Ivan Tsarevitch and Grey Wolf 3 Heads Russian Film Distribution

The Russian full-length animated film Ivan Tsarevitch and Grey Wolf 3 leads domestic box office, having collected $6.97 million on the weekend.

      As the Kinobusiness portal reports, the first animated film about adventures of Ivan and his friend became the box office hit of 2012 with 766 million rubles. The year 2013 saw the release of its sequel, which collected 633.5 million rubles and won the Gold Eagle award.

      The overall box office in Russian film distribution made $22.2 million.

      The Russian karaoke comedy The Best Day ranks third; the film has collected $2.42 million on the second weekend (with $5.3 million in general).
