Europeans Entrust Russia to Develop Nuclear Weapon against Asteroids

The international scientific community has asked the Russian scientists to engineer a system that can deflect asteroids, which might once threaten the Earth.

      It was reported to TASS by the parent scientific organization of ROSCOSMOS.

      "The international NEOShield project examining and studying all the methods of exerting influence on dangerous objects was carried out as part of the seventh framework program of the EU on scientific research and technology development from 2012 to 2015. The works were distributed among participants from various countries and organizations, and Russia got the task of deflecting dangerous space objects by means of nuclear explosions”, - the press service of institute informed.
