As the Moscow Culture Department reports, hundreds of events dedicated to the anniversary since the poet’s birth have been planned.
"Topical exhibitions, literary festivals and recitals, film screenings, excursions and lectures devoted to his creativity will be held in museums, cultural centers, and libraries from January 14” – the press service informs.
The poet’s birthday, January 15, was celebrated with opening a literary exhibition in Osip Mandelstam Library and screening of the documentary film Keep My Speech Forever.
Festivals, literary recitals and creative meetings will be taking place in Moscow all the year round.
