1100 tons of sand and salt mix and 20 tons of reagent were used for road cleaning due to snowfall over the last day and night.

More than 200 thousand cubic meters of snow have been removed from the streets of Nizhny Novgorod since the beginning of 2016. This was reported by the press service of municipal administration.

According to the information, the road services of Nizhny Novgorod took out 19 215 cubic meters of snow from streets of Nizhny Novgorodon on January 26 and on the night of January 27, 2016.

1100 tons of sand and salt mix and 20 tons of reagent were used for road cleaning due to snowfall over the last day and night.

The reagent was mainly used for platforms. It had to be applied because during frosts the sand and salt mix turns to be less effective for removing ice.
