Cargo traffic by Russian trucks through Turkey proved to be impossible due to the end of the term of the Turkish permits issued in 2015 that ended on January 31, 2016. This was reported by the Association of International Automobile Carriers (AIAC).

“The contingent of permits for 2016 has not yet been agreed upon by the Turkish party. The Ministry of Transport of Russia is taking measures to resolve the issue - the offers on permits exchange has been repeatedly sent to the Turkish party” - the message of AIAC said.
