A free shuttle bus will run between the mountain and coastal clusters of Sochi from February 6, as the press service of the “Gorky Gorod” all-season resort reported on Friday. The bus will be available to everyone - both citizens and guests of Sochi who chose to stay in the hotels of the Imereti lowland – “Bogatyr”, Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Centre, “Imeretinsky” and to have rest in “Sochi Park” and the “Gorki Gorod” mountain resort. “The corporate bus that will run between “Sochi Park” and Gorki Gorod” all year round which will make it possible to compare the advantages of beach and mountain kinds of recreation, saving time and money of guests” – the representative of the press service stressed.

      According to him, the route will be served by the buses LiAZ-5292.60 with a capacity of 88 passengers. The bus will run every day. The first departure from “Bogatyr” hotel starts at 8:30 a.m., then at 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The bus departure from “Gorky Gorod” is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

      If you bother to take the plane from any Moscow airport to the city of Sochi, you will definitely never regret about it. This town is rather small, though one of the longest settlements in the world – it is stretched along the Black sea coast for about 150 km. Ancient Adygs named this place “fire water” and used it for improving their health, though they didn’t know that the water contained sulfur, iodine and bromine, which make it a cure-all. A beautiful legend reveals the mystery of the resort name: once a beautiful girl, whose name was Matsesta, lived in the valley. The time went by, and her parents grew old and their health wasn’t as good as it used to be when they were young. She decided to cure them and asked the Spirit of the Underground for help. The Spirit heard her and made some healing springs burst forth out of the earth but took the girl’s life for this favour.
