A museum of city history is being created in Angarsk. The formation of the museum is performed by the working group consisting of honorable citizens, administration representatives and the public of Angarsk.

      The main exhibition of the National Museum of History of Angarsk will be placed at the “Pobeda” Palace of Veterans on the eve of the city’s anniversary.

      Some items will be given to the “Mechta” club at the place of residence where the museum called “The Old Apartment” is organized. In addition, it will be possible to study the history of the city in an electronic form as well: a separate application will be created on the official website of the Angarsk city district and the website of the centre of support of public initiatives.

      The fund of the Folk Museum will consist of the items given by the residents of Angarsk as presents. The exhibition will need old photographs, videos, utensils, clothes, documents, objects of everyday life - everything that has to do with the city’s history and the life of its residents, as the press service of the administration of Angarsk city district reports.
