The interest of the British in the Russian book is related to the recent screen version of War and Peace released by the BBC channel.

According to research of the international marketing agency Nielsen BookScan, 3581 copies of the world famous novel were sold in English book stores over the last week. Thus, for the first time it turned to be in the 50 top of the most popular books in England. In total 13 thousand copies of this novel have already been sold  since the general release of the new screen version on the British television in December, 2015.
