Big Animation Festival Kicks off in Voronezh for the Sixth Time

From February 25 to February 28 the dwellers of Voronezh will have a chance to watch the best Russian and foreign animated films.

All the animations are divided into categories. For example, the best works will be shown in the Winner program, and the newest ones in the Premiere program.

Traditionally there will be various master classes, where all comers can learn how animated films are created and even try to create a animation fragment.

The festival is opening with the French full-length animated film Far into the North, which tells about Russia and the Russian literature.

Maria Tereshchenko, the festival program director:

"We have programs for adults, for families, children and teenagers. Fortunately the stereotype that animation is meant for children only is more. Animation is not for children but for all. Actually our festival proves it", she pointed out.
