The export of coal from Russia to China will remain at the same level in 2016 as it was in 2015 – 15 billion tons. This was stated by Analotiy Yanovski during the Krasnoyarsk Finance Forum, says Rambler News Service.

“Around 15 million tons”, said the official. China is the biggest consumer of coal in the world. In 2015 China imported 204.05 million tons of coal. The overall import has fallen by 30%. On the 26th of January The World Bank has updated the forecast for raw material cost. According to the organization, 37 of 46 of them will decrease in value.

The experts from The World Bank expect the overall decline on the demand of raw materials and decline of economic growth in the main raw material consuming countries. Earlier the British energy corporation BP has predicted the decline on the demand of coal within the next 20 years until it reaches its lowest value ever. The analyst board of BP believes that gas will take its place.
