The Russian population has started to adapt to the fluctuation of the ruble’s exchange rate and stopped buying currency in exchangers. This was stated by the president of Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina in an interview to Reuters.
“I believe it’s only natural. Everyone gets used to the floating exchange rate. Both the enterprises and the people start to understand that the rates can go either way. You can both win or lose in this situation”, quotes Rambler News Service. According to Nabiullina, the citizens reacted very calmly to the second wave of ruble’s weakening in January 2016.
