Despite Crisis, Kolyada Theatre is Going on European Tour

Kolyada Theatre based in Yekaterinburg is preparing for the Russian Week in France, which will run in Tarb at the end of March.

We are bringing three of our stage productions to France: Boris Godunov, The Cherry Orchard and Hamlet.

A 18-meter truck will transport the theatre's scenery to France and the actors will depart to Tarb on March 22. The theatre from Yekaterinburg will show its performances in Poland and Serbia as well.

The Kolyada Theatre will tour in Europe for about 20 days. The agreement with theaters of France, Poland and Serbia was reached last year and, despite the increased euro exchange rate, Nikolay Kolyada has not dropped the plan.
