Photo Biennale 2016 Kicks Off in Moscow

Photo Biennale 2016 festival presents five  collections of pictures that fall into various trends of art.

      Photo Biennale 2016 is held with  assistance of the Moscow government and the Art Museum. During the period from March 10 to April 10 works by the Soviet photo master and the founder of the concept "photo report" Arkady Shtahet and the orientalist Andrey Cherkasenko will be displayed.

      Admirers of Japanese culture will also enjoy the series Modernism in Japanese Photography. The 1930s by Osama Siihara. It will be available from March 11 to April 10. The exposition The Hermitage. Palaces of St. Petersburg by the photographer Candida Hofer will run from March 10 to May 9. The modern European photographer Karen Knorr's series of photos under the name The British Style. The 1970s — the 1980s will take place from March 11 to April 10. The exhibition STAY PUT by the Russian photographer Anna Kuzmina is dedicated to exploration of human abilities.
