Russian Trade Figures Falling Down

Positive trade surplus of the Russian Federation amounted to $ 8.5 billion at the end of January 2016, which is about half the result shown a year earlier, as it is reported by the Federal Customs Service, according to “Interfax”.

      “The trade balance showed a surplus of $ 8.5 billion, which is $ 8.4 billion less than in January 2015” - the message of the service stated.

      Russia’s foreign trade turnover made up $ 26.7 billion in January 2016 and decreased by 32.8%, as compared to January 2015.
