The popular actors Konstantin Khabensky and Veniamin Smekhov will appear on stage of the Mariinsky Theater in the Prokofiev project.

      The anniversary program is dedicated to the 125th anniversary since the composer's birth. The Mariinsky Theater is opening a project that will present Sergey Prokofiev's fairy tale for a year. Every month its actors will change according to viewers' choice. The audience will have an opportunity to select any performer from the field of cinema and music.

      Following the results of a poll, Konstantin Khabensky and Veniamin Smekhov will take part in the project. They will perform as narrators in one of Sergey Prokofiev's symphonic fairy tales staged by the Mariinsky Theater.
