Trajectory, the only free astronomical school for teenagers in Russia will be founded in the mountains of Karachay-Cherkessia.
It will be housed at the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the town of Nizhny Arkhyz.
Eighth-grade pupils of any Russian schools will be eligible to attend the astronomy course. Teenagers will have an opportunity to listen to lectures by world famous scientists, expand their knowledge in the field of astronomy and astrophysics, participate in astronomical observation, get experience in research work, and try their wings at solving specific scientific objectives.
The astrophysical school Trajectory is a three-year course of internal and correspondence studies on physics, mathematics and astronomy. These objects are key for scientific activity in the field of astronomy and astrophysics.
