Cesare Maria Ragaglini, an ambassador of Italy to Russia reported about further cooperation with the Pushkin Fine Arts Museum.
In particular, he spoke about plans of bringing Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci's exhibitions to Moscow.
"Cultural cooperation has become a priority for our countries, and now following the great success of the exhibitions of Caravaggio and Titian in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow we are jointly developing a new extremely interesting project — an exhibition of Raphael's paintings - which will kick off in the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in September. But there is more to come. In 2017 we plan to carry out one more grandiose project, this time dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci" — Cesare Ragaglini pointed out.
The ambassador said about these plans at the opening ceremony of the exhibition Italian Artists in Moscow of the 19th Century held in the Embassy of Italy in Russia from March 25, 2016.
